American Legion Scholarships

American Legion - H. U. Wood Post 245 awards up to 5 Scholarships annually. The Scholarships will be awarded to eligible Graduating Seniors in Guadalupe County Schools, that are planning on attending college. Applications must be turned in no later than April 1st 2026. The applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee and will coordinate with the Auxiliary Unit and ALR so that scholarships are not duplicated. Scholarship winners will be notified as soon as possible after all applications are reviewed. Scholarship recipients and their parents will be invited to the regular June meeting of Post 245, the first Thursday, at which time they will be introduced and will be awarded a certificate. The completed applications must be returned to the American Legion Post, 618 E. Kingsbury St, Seguin, TX 78155 Sunday-Saturday between 3:00pm-9:00pm
